Soco

Ninguém mais te suporta
Só eu abro a boca
Porque o soco vem
E eu não tô com medo

Você fechou os olhos
Bem arregalados
Tapou os ouvidos
Com a própria voz

Quebrou milhões de copos
Queimou panelas
Jogou os talheres no lixo
E ela disse: "ele é assim"

Eu me perguntei
Se ela sabia
Se era novidade,
Acho que era o plano

Ela foi criada ouvindo
"Ele é assim"

Você riu de mim
Zombou, sentiu
O prazer de olhar alguém
De cima a baixo
De cima do palco

Eu despistei,
Tranquei a porta
Comprei um balde
Dormi com uma faca
Debaixo do travesseiro

"Perdoa ele, não foi por mal"
E não foi isso que me consolou.

Eu tive medo
Sonhei contigo
Me quebrando numa quina
Tive medo por ela
Tive pelo meu filho
Arrumei uma mochila
Com tudo que eu tinha
E cinquenta reais.

Sua filha foge
Quando você abre a boca
Eu nem abro a minha,
Ela já sabe.

Eu vou dormir com ódio
Escorrendo por entre os dedos.
Ensaio a tua morte,
Soco, assassinato,
O que for necessário.

Quando eu desfiz minha mala
Gastei o dinheiro e o medo,
E se você pensar
Em se meter comigo,
Te derrubo antes
De você piscar.

Entidade

Eu chamo teu nome
Afogada em esperança
Eu tentei matá-la sufocada
Amarrei pesos aos tornozelos
Ela se tornou água.

Pensei que era chama,
Queimando teus restos;
As fotos e os traços
O que coube nos bolsos.

Mas assim que tentei apagá-la,
Ela se tornou vento.

Eu chamo teu nome
De corpo estirado
Não te espero, não canto
Não deixo convites.

Sempre foi solitário
Sonhar ao teu lado,
Enquanto ela criava raízes
Sob meus pés.

Eu cortei e sequei
No sol de três da tarde
Os brotos e os galhos
Tentei engoli-los,
Mas tossi de volta.

Pensei, talvez o mofo
Me ajude a levá-los embora.
E agora,
Eu assisto enxarcada,
Passiva e calada,
E me pergunto
Como foi que começou o fogo.

Glass Dagger [♪]

I made myself a scar
Because I had a wound,
And it was painful —
A stab in the center of my chest,
Ugly, dirty, infected.

I tried to open it,
Sort the shards out,
Clean myself inside.
I picked up my skin
Like it was spikes of a porcupine
Or horns of a cactus —
Something that
Was not supposed to be there.

I guess I'm not a plant, nor an animal,
But my whole existence feels
Like a mistake,
Like I'm not supposed to be here.

I tried to paint myself —
The pain among the art,
Over my vesture.
I made a gesture
To my inner shadow
To let them know that I'm aware.

I made myself a wound,
And it was painful,
But the wound I had before
Was aching further.
So I had to move my claws
And do something about it.

Vivid Raptile [adapted] ♪

I have to lower my blood pressure so I can stand you inside my house
Inside my walls, under my sheets
Inside my clothes,
And thoughts
Like a parasite,
The way you used to call me
And I still believe it
But then again,
I have no other source.

I have to pour down one of my drinks
Swallow
With my clogged throat,
And still try to empathize;
While holding my knife
Close to my hips
Against my chest
As if I were trying to tear myself apart
From the inside
I guess my heart isn't as spiky
As my skin,
And it shows
From my voice tone
From the way I move
For the way I breathe
Trying not to steal your air
Suffocating beneath you
Buried six feet
Under concrete;

I guess I never realized
The cage I live in is self made
I made it all out of walls
So I could not escape
'Cause I'm a snake
And who knows who I may bite
Once I manage to get out.

Leave The Party ♪

I have been spending my whole life
Trying to be good enough
I slit my wrists I drank too much
But I was not even there

You said you two were going out and I was not invited
I smoked a pack of cigarettes trying to forget about it

(Chorus)
Uuuh when will you realize
That I've been here all the time
I've been alone by your side
Uuuh I think now you've realized,
That I'm still sitting on my own
But now I want to leave the party

I've tried to play all of your games
You hurt me, I never complained
I hurt you back, was it okay?
That's what you two used to teach me.

I only wanted to be friends
But you both forgot about me
I tried to hurt myself and laugh
Now I want to forget about it

(Chorus)
Uuuuh and I just want to leave the party
Uuuuh oh I just want to leave this party
Uuuh I want to forget about you
Uuuuh Mom, can I please just leave the party?

Air

Your health is leaking.
I place my hands together,
Try to hold it,
While it escapes from me
Like a breeze on butterfly wings.

I think of you,
I do my best to skip some thoughts,
I have to silence myself
So I can be enough;
So I can do all I have to do.

I dig my feet on the ground:
Roots to keep me from falling,
Your breeze is getting stronger
And I have been greeted
By previous hurricanes.

I have to nail down the drawers
So they stay in place,
Time is a blessing that evades me –
I hope my shelter stays still,
And I pray for your breath
To keep coming.

I try to indulge myself,
Pull me from the cage.
I have to create time gaps,
So I can swallow it all.
It tastes bitter,
But I grew used to it.

My mind comes in waves
And so does your weather,
I'm trying my best to guess it;
But I'm not a meteorologist.
